Calling it DLC cheapens what DLC is, and also makes it legally sketchy, since season passes have been around for years now, and yet everyone still has to pay Disn- I mean Bethesda Bucks to get this "extra content." I really don't know why that's such a contentious point.

Step on a mine and died? It'll be conspicuously absent when you reload your save from two seconds before. Companion dialogue with at least Piper has been completely done away with, and it's hit or miss if she'll open up her trade menu or not, more often not. You have to wait a minute for the system to process that you've accomplished all the tasks, and sometimes you have to run through the dialogue twice for it to trigger.
